A.I. Generated Fantasy Art

I\’ve been playing around with the text-prompt-based A.I. image generator over at NightCafe, and I rather enjoy the results I\’ve gotten with prompts asking for fantasy portraits for an upcoming D&D game.

I\’ve tried a few strategies, first asking for images in the style of an artist, such as the Frazetta-esque sorceress to the left above. Then I tried asking for actors as certain characters, typified by the Sean Connery as a wizard image to the right. Finally, I started asking just for some characters, such as Xena in the middle; this result has been especially interesting when asking for characters who have been portrayed by various actors, as elements of each will be integrated into the image.
